GSA Marketplace

The GSA Marketplace is published weekly (usually on Monday) and is a service for UGA graduate students to advertise goods and services or for non-graduate students in the community who may have goods and services of interest to graduate students. To receive important reminders about the marketplace and other GSA announcements, sign up for the GSA Listserv.

Instructions for Posting Marketplace Ads:  To post an ad to the GSA Marketplace send me and email (gsasec@uga.edu) with the full text of your ad and a short but descriptive title for your ad. Be sure to include your contact information at the end of the ad text. DO NOT SEND ATTACHMENTS and always include the word 'Marketplace' somewhere in your subject heading.  Ads should not exceed 150 words.  If you want your ad to run for multiple weeks you need to resubmit your ad each week. Marketplace runs (almost) every Monday, while school is in session.  The deadline for ad submission is the end of the day on Sunday.

UGA CHILD ANXIETY STUDY:  We are recruiting youth, ages 7-12, for a free treatment study for youth with anxiety. RESEARCH PARTICIPANTS NEEDED:  Participants needed for an fMRI study of language and memory. Participants must be right-handed, native English speakers (no second language learned before age 5) with no history of neurological disorder and no personal or family history of mental illness. Participants must meet MRI safety criteria, including no metal implants, and must not be pregnant. The experiment will take place over two sessions, depending on meeting criteria for the second session: The first session will take place in the Psychology Bldg (Room 415) and last approximately 1.5 hours, while the second will take place Friday of the same week in the Coverdell Bldg and last approximately 1 hour. Please do no sign up if you do not want to participate in both sessions.
