Bio: Hongyu Zhang is a second year Ph.D. student in the department of International Affairs at UGA. He obtained his M.A. in politics from Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris in France, and his B.A. in Business Management from Xiamen University in China. He is fluent in English, French, and Chinese. He has been working as a Research Assistant in his department since he started his graduate study at UGA in fall 2009. He has given paper presentation in Midwest Political Science Association Conference. In terms of social involvement, he had plenty of leadership experience in his college life. At UGA, he was a World Leader in the 2010 international student orientation, sponsored by International Student Life office. He currently serves as the GSA President.
